About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you are responsible for providing nursing care that is safe, cost effective and of the highest quality in accordance with the evidence, professional standards, organisational standards and policy and procedure.

Our Registered Nurses are accountable for ensuring all health services they provide are consistent with their education and assessed competence, meet legislative requirements and are supported by appropriate standard.

You will work as part of a team in a peer-supported environment, where everyone wants to deliver great quality care to our residents and ensure they have a positive experience whilst living in our Homes.  We are looking for a night-owl who enjoys working a permanent night-duty but is also happy to mix this with dayshifts too.  We can offer 3 fixed night-shifts (Tues-Thur) combined with rostered dayshifts that make this a full time role.

About You

You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect and operate with a person centred approach and high standards of quality care.

You will have great people skills, whether you are spending time with staff or residents, it's all about the way we communicate with each other and how we get the job done that counts and makes the difference to everyone's day.  If you do not already live in Wellington, we will help you make the move to be there!

Along with excellent communication and a quality improvement focus, you will hold:

  • NZ Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate
  • At least 1 years’ full time equivalent RN experience in provision of care to older adults
  • Experience working in a sole charge role would be great, but it's not essential
  • Proof of Covid 19 vaccination status and booster where eligible
