Mō to tūranga - About the Role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join the team full time at Levin Home for War Veterans working on rostered and rotating shifts. You will work as part of an Enliven team in a peer-supported environment, where everyone wants to deliver great quality care to our residents and ensure they have a positive experience whilst living in our home.  We provide weekend and nightshift allowances and overtime rates so you will be recognized and compensated for the flexibility you can bring with you as we appreciate every team member that can support our Home to be a great place to live and work.

Mō koe - About You

As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills. You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect, and operate with a person-centred approach and high care standards. Whether you are spending time with staff or residents, it's all about the way we communicate with each other and how we get the job done that counts towards making the difference to everyone's day. Also you will have:  

  • NZ Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate. 
  • 2 years full time equivalent RN experience in provision of care to older adults in NZ preferred
  • Ability to lead others working under your delegated authority 
  • Experience working in a sole charge role would be great, but it's not essential.
  • Interrai would be an advantage - but we can train you.
