Mō to tūranga - About the Role

We’re seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Bureau Team on a permanent part-time basis (32 hours per week). This role involves rostered, rotating AM, PM, and night shifts across our Wellington homes. You’ll work in a supportive team environment, delivering quality care and ensuring residents have a positive experience. We offer weekend and night allowances, plus overtime rates, to recognize the flexibility you bring in helping make our homes great places to live and work.

Mō koe - About You

Along with a passion for supporting older people, you’ll be patient, organised, and have strong interpersonal skills. You share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect, delivering person-centred care to high standards. Whether with staff or residents, great communication and teamwork make the difference every day. Also you will have:  

  • NZ Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate.
  • Willingness to work across our Wellington Homes (Cashmere, Longview, Huntleigh, and Woburn)
  • Ability to provide care at various levels including Dementia Level and Hospital Level of Care
  • Flexibility to work AM, PM and Night Shifts
  • At least 2 years full time equivalent RN experience in provision of care to older adults
  • Ability to lead and mentor
  • CAP nursing and Interrai would be an advantage
  • Experience working in a sole charge role would be great, but it's not essential
  • Proficiency in using different systems such as LeeCare, HumanForce and MS Suite is essential
