Mō te tūranga - About the role
This role is on a casual basis - we are looking for someone to fill in and pick up day shifts as needed across our Wellington Homes. As a Recreation Officer, you will plan and facilitate individual recreation plans for residents, as well as the recreation programmes. This involves running daily activities with staff and volunteers, planning the social calendar for the home and supporting our residents to pursue their interests. You will encourage residents to maintain their independence, learn new skills and maintain connections with their community. The key aspects of the role are:
