Enliven is a not-for-profit service providing aged residential care to older people in the lower half of the North Island. Our homes and villages are places where older people have companionship, choice, variety, fun, meaningful activity and a sense of purpose.
We are looking for a weekend laundry worker who understands the importance of delivering quality customer focused services to our residents. Our laundry and housekeeping team play an integral part in ensuring that our Homes are a warm, inviting and pleasant environment to live and work.
Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Laundry worker you will be responsible for a variety of routine laundry duties, including maintaining documents related to residents' laundering and distributing clothing and linen. You will also have:
Mō koe - About You
As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills. You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect. Previous experience of working in a rest home or hospital environment is a plus, but it's not essential, as we can help you learn what you need to know.
