About the Role

As a Kitchen hand, you will be responsible for assisting the Food Services Team Leader to prepare and serve tasty and nutritious means for lunch and dinner. You will also:

  • Prepare and cook morning and afternoon tea
  • Clear tables when all residents have finished eating
  • Ensure meals are served at the appropriate size and temperature 
  • Maintain daily food and fridge temperature checks 

Casual vacancies are available at Levin Home for War Veterans, in Levin.

You will also have:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a kitchen 
  • Good communication skills
  • High standards of food and personal hygiene
