We have a number of Healthcare Assistant positions currently available at Woburn Home in Lower Hutt. We are a residential aged care Home, providing rest home, hospital and dementia level care together with an active day centre, delivering recreation activities to Elders living in the community.
We have a variety of working hours across both fixed and rotating rosters, hours of work may include AM, PM, Nightshift and include regular weekend work.
We are interested in hearing from applicants who are able to work flexibly and who understand that the delivery of residential care requires us to be responsive to the needs of our residents and often we have to be agile at work.
You will work as part of an Enliven team in a peer-supported environment, where everyone wants to deliver great quality care to our residents and ensure they have a positive experience whilst living in our home. As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills. You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect, and operate with a person-centred approach and high care standards. Whether you are spending time with staff or residents, it's all about the way we communicate with each other and how we get the job done that counts towards making the difference to everyone's day.
