Mō te tūranga - About the role
We’re seeking a capable and results-focused Finance Manager to lead our finance team and oversee day-to-day financial operations.
Supporting the Chief Financial Officer in leading the finance function, this pivotal role supports strong financial oversite, enhances systems and processes, and provides strategic insight that helps shape PSC’s future.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and coach a high-performing finance team, fostering capability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Oversee core financial operations including accounts payable, reconciliations, balance sheet management, property work-in-progress, debtor reduction, and cashflow management.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial information across monthly reporting, annual budgets, and audit preparation.
- Provide meaningful financial insights and modelling to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Optimise systems and processes, championing efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in reporting and workflows.
- Partner with operational leaders, translating complex financial information into clear insights that empower non-financial managers to manage budgets effectively.
Mō koe - About You
You’re a collaborative and confident finance leader who combines technical excellence with the ability to inspire and empower others. You’re passionate about using your skills to make a tangible difference.
You’ll bring:
- Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ or equivalent) qualification
- Proven leadership experience within a finance team
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach to systems and process improvement
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience in aged care (advantageous but not essential)
